1952 DODGE PICKUP COMPLETED

This 1952 Dodge Pickup was trailered here to see if Doug could get it running.  Now understand that it had set in the desert for 40+ years so this might be a challenge.  Take a look.
One nice thing about the desert is that generally there is not a lot of rust due to low humidity.  Doug did not have to replace any sheet metal only a floor pan.  He rebuilt the engine and transmission, had the differential gone through then rebuilt and updated the brake system.  The 6 volt electrical system was updated to 12 volt and electric windshield wipers were installed.  The frame was sandblasted and painted and all under surfaces were cleaned and undercoated.  Then it was paint and re-assemble.
The colors were chosen and agreed on by Doug and the owners.  Once the painting was complete Doug went to work on the upholstery all designed and sewn by him.  So the following photos are the completed truck.

See Video of Doug showing the completed chassis.
