1952 DODGE PICKUP COMPLETED
This 1952 Dodge Pickup was trailered here to see if Doug could get it running. Now understand that it had set in the desert for 40+ years so this might be a challenge. Take a look.

One nice thing about the desert is that generally there is not a lot of rust due to low humidity. Doug did not have to replace any sheet metal only a floor pan. He rebuilt the engine and transmission, had the differential gone through then rebuilt and updated the brake system. The 6 volt electrical system was updated to 12 volt and electric windshield wipers were installed. The frame was sandblasted and painted and all under surfaces were cleaned and undercoated. Then it was paint and re-assemble.
The colors were chosen and agreed on by Doug and the owners. Once the painting was complete Doug went to work on the upholstery all designed and sewn by him. So the following photos are the completed truck.

1936 Cadillac Sedan Convertible gets a new top
1936 Cadillac
Sedan Convertible
What a gorgeous car ! Doug received this car, at his shop, with the order to replace the convertible top which included replacing all of the bows that support the top. These bows had to be handmade so the job took a while.
As you can see, the out come was perfect and I am pretty sure the owner was super pleased. Can't you image that this car would be a perfect car to drive Route 66. (See work in progress pics on the convertible top tab on the right hand column.)

The 1959 Rambler Interior is finished.

As promised in a previous post I have added pics of the new upholstery that Doug recently completed. Please view larger pics on the upholstery page. The pics just don't do justice to how great this new upholstery looked in this car. I bet the owner found it a lot more comfortable than the old worn out seats.

Duesenburg Top
I just loaded pics of the convertible top that Doug replaced on a 1933 Duesenburg. The original top had been replaced but the owner did not like the way it was made. The new top really turned out well and the owner was happy. (See more pics convertible top tab.)

Works in Progress
Currently, Doug is finishing the upholstery ( floor pans, carpet and seats) on a 1959 Rambler. We will get some pics posted as soon as possible. This is a customer driver and is really turning out well. He will soon have a Studebaker Champion convertible here for top and mechanical repair. Will update later.
